At India Hobby Project (IHP), we aim to make getting your favourite hobby kits simple and hassle-free. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver your orders.

1. Where We Deliver

IHP currently offers delivery across India, subject to courier serviceability at the delivery address provided during checkout.

2. Order Processing & Dispatch

Once your order and payment have been successfully confirmed:

  • Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days.

  • Orders are dispatched after processing and quality checks.

  • Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays may be processed on the next working day.

You will receive an order/shipping confirmation once your order has been dispatched.

3. Delivery Timeline

Orders are generally delivered within 3–7 business days after dispatch.

Actual delivery time may vary depending on:

  • Your location

  • Courier serviceability

  • Weather conditions

  • Public holidays

  • Remote-area delivery

  • Unforeseen logistical delays

The delivery timeline displayed at checkout, where applicable, should be considered the most relevant estimate for your order.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, are calculated based on your order and delivery location and will be clearly displayed before you complete payment at checkout.

Any applicable free-shipping offers will be communicated on the website or during checkout.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be shared with you through the contact details provided while placing the order.

You can use the tracking information to follow your shipment directly through the respective delivery partner.

6. Delivery Address

Please make sure that your delivery address, phone number, PIN code, and other required details are accurate before placing your order.

IHP is not responsible for delivery issues caused by:

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses

  • Incorrect PIN codes

  • Incorrect contact information

  • Failure to respond to the delivery partner

  • Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts

If you notice an incorrect address after placing your order, contact us immediately. We will try to assist if the order has not yet been dispatched.

7. Delayed Deliveries

While we aim to meet the estimated delivery timelines, delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances outside our control.

These may include:

  • Courier or logistics disruptions

  • Extreme weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Public holidays

  • Strikes or transportation disruptions

  • Government restrictions

  • Remote-area delivery challenges

  • Other unforeseen circumstances

If your order appears significantly delayed, please contact us with your order number so we can assist you.

8. Damaged Packages

If your package arrives visibly damaged, please take photographs/videos of the package before opening it, if possible.

If the product inside is damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Photographs/videos of the outer packaging

  • Photographs/videos of the damaged product

  • A brief description of the issue

We will review the case and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

9. Missing Items

If any item listed under the “Items Included” section of your purchased kit is missing, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We may request photographs or videos of the package and its contents to verify the issue.

10. Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery (COD) is currently not available.

All IHP orders must be paid online through the payment options available at checkout.

11. Multiple Products in One Order

If an order contains multiple products, IHP may ship them together or separately depending on stock availability, packaging requirements, and logistics.

If your order is split into multiple shipments, applicable tracking information may be provided separately.
